Tiger Woods News – Tiger Woods told reporters that he spent his weekend studying and crafting his professional skills. To do so he attended events where he watched golfers and learned “how real players play golf.” He put his career on hold and set out to examine some of the finest names in the game. Tiger Woods wasn’t able to perform quite like he used to like the past at the last rounds of the Quail Hollow Championship that took place is Charlotte. It was just his second event back after the sex scandal that has left his family torn apart. He took a break from golf and is trying to restore some vital things in his life. However, Woods did manage to still come out on top with a 79 where he finished 9 over par. Now Tiger Woods will face trouble trying to pick up the pieces when he competes at The Players Championship in Florida which will take place just next week.

Tiger was asked by reporters if it bothered him that he missed the cut and Woods responded with “It does bother me, no doubt. But at least I get the weekend to watch and see how it’s done, how real players play gold, and hopefully I can piece it together for the next week and be ready to go.” As a professional golfer before this event began he had only missed five cuts out of close to 240 starts. The last time was last year in the Open at Turnberry and before that was at the 2006 Open just after his father died. The last time he missed cut in a non-major event was the 2005 Children’s Miracle Network Classic which took place at Walt Disney World. His chances of still making it in Charlotte quickly went away after he double bogeyed on the 14th. Tiger managed to miss the green and then shoot one straight into the water.
